Bruce Willis has appeared in a variety of roles from comedy, to Sci-Fi, to action and was popular in the 1990's. He his best known for his action role in the Die Hard series of films and in the cult film Pulp Fiction. As a child he had a stutter and when he joined the drama club as soon as he stepped on stage he did not stutter. after a few minor stage role his break came being cast in the popular television series Moonlighting. He then made Blind Date but it was his role in Die Hard that made him a major star and is the one that he will be remembered for. Death Becomes Her is an amusing film opposite Meryl Streep and Goldie Hawn. He is almost a nerdy character whose life has gone out of his control. This was followed by a very different role in Quentin Tarantino's violent thriller Pulp Fiction. 12 Monkeys is Terry Gilliam's time travellng film of Bruce Willis sent back from a dystopian future to stop a pandemic. The Fifth Element by contrast is a comic sci-fi action film. The Six Sense is a paranormal film and is sensitive performance as he works with a child. The twist at the end only works thanks to the performance of Bruce Willis. Unbreakable is another M Night Shyamalan film and Bruce Willis tries to use his new found power of being unbreakable for good. In Red he is retired CIA operative who someone is trying to kill him, so he gets his ol team back together. This is an excuse to get more mature actors into an action film. In Moonrise KIngdom he play a cop that is opposite to every other cop that he played. Looper was a return to a sci-fi time travelling film. His first wife was Demi Moore and his second wife is Emma Heming.
